You may use GimaSports if:

• You are under 18 and have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Parents or guardians are responsible for minors using the platform.

3. Purpose of the Platform

GimaSports is designed to support basketball development through:

• Athlete visibility and scouting
• Performance statistics
• Team and league management
• Basketball community growth

We do not guarantee scholarships, contracts, recruitment, or selection opportunities.

4. User Accounts

If accounts are enabled:

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep login details secure
• Not share accounts improperly
• Notify us of unauthorized access

We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or abusively.

5. Player Profiles & Content

Profiles may include:

• Name
• Age
• Height
• Weight
• Statistics
• Team history
• Photos or approved media

Users confirm they have the right to upload any content submitted.

You remain responsible for accuracy of profile information.

6. Minors

Where players are under 18:

• Parent/guardian consent may be required
• Guardians may request edits or deletion
• We may remove content involving minors for safety or compliance reasons

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• Upload false stats or misleading information
• Harass players, coaches, scouts, or users
• Impersonate another person or team
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems
• Upload illegal, hateful, abusive, or obscene content
• Interfere with platform operations

Violation may result in suspension or removal.

8. Scouting & Visibility Disclaimer

GimaSports may increase player visibility, but we do not guarantee:

• Recruitment offers
• Team selection
• Sponsorships
• Scholarships
• Professional opportunities

All decisions remain with teams, scouts, or third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

The GimaSports name, branding, software, design, and original platform materials belong to GimaSports unless otherwise stated.

Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit the platform without permission.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Use of GimaSports is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We handle personal data in accordance with applicable laws including the Data Protection Act 2019 Kenya.

11. Hosting & Availability

The platform may be hosted using DigitalOcean or other service providers.

We aim for reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, outages, or technical issues may occur.

12. Account Suspension or Removal

We may suspend or remove accounts, profiles, or content where necessary for:

• Safety concerns
• Fraudulent activity
